There is no single perfect posture
People naturally move between positions. A posture that feels comfortable for one person may not be comfortable for another, and staying in one position for a long time can be a bigger issue than a single “bad” position.
Change positions often
Alternate sitting, standing, walking, and task positions where possible. Set reminders if you routinely lose track of time at a desk.
Address what your body is telling you
If you have recurring tension, consider workload, sleep, stress, activity, workstation setup, and recovery. Massage can address areas of muscular tension while yoga can add movement practice.
A broader manual approach
Manual osteopathic therapy may be considered when your goal includes movement and whole-body relationships. Discuss your symptoms and goals rather than assuming a particular technique is required.
Book a personalized assessment
Golden Palm’s treatments are designed around the individual. If posture-related discomfort keeps returning, schedule a session and discuss the pattern.
